THE PROJECT

Discover ALFIE (Assessment of Learning technologies and Frameworks for Intelligent and Ethical AI), a cutting-edge research project designed to bridge the gap between technology and society. We’ve combined two powerful tools to create a unique space for exploration and innovation:

  • The EthiTech Dialogue Hub: Join the conversation about the future of AI. This dynamic forum brings together diverse perspectives from citizens, policymakers, experts, and legal professionals to discuss the ethical and legal implications of artificial intelligence.
  • AutoML: Our automated AI model evaluation platform provides a streamlined way to assess AI performance, ensuring that it aligns with ethical standards and societal values.

Ready to dive in? Explore the ALFIE project and become part of the movement shaping the responsible development of AI.

OBJECTIVES

Join us in creating a future where artificial intelligence benefits everyone. Our mission is to:

  • Empower Europe: Equip individuals and organisations with the skills and knowledge needed to harness the power of AI.
  • Understand AI’s Impact: Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover the real-world effects of AI deployment across Europe.
  • Promote Ethical AI: Develop policies and best practices that ensure AI is developed and used responsibly.
  • Create People-Centered AI: Design AI models that are ethical, trustworthy, and meet the needs of individuals.
  • Build a Transparent AI Ecosystem: Develop an accessible, trustworthy, and democratic AI platform.
  • Educate the Public: Raise awareness about AI and its potential to shape our lives.

Together, we can create a future where AI serves the public good.

Seventeen multicoloured post-it notes are roughly positioned in a square shape on a white board. Each one of them has a hand drawn sketch in pen on them, answering the prompt on one of the post-it notes "AI is...." The sketches are all very different, some are patterns representing data, some are cartoons, some show drawings of things like data centres, or stick figure drawings of the people involved.
