On July 3rd, 2025, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Mental Health (ICAIMH 2025) hosted a powerful keynote titled “When Machines Decide: Ethics and Responsibility in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” Delivered by Dr. Juan Antonio Recio García from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the session explored the ethical implications of delegating critical decisions to intelligent systems, particularly in mental health contexts.
